It’s been a while since I did a post about games, huh?
A while back, I asked for suggestions for F2P games, and Hundstrasse suggested Paladins. Because our gaming PC is usually occupied by my better half, I decided to sign up for the PS4 closed beta. After a while, I got a code, but for some reason it wouldn’t work. I’ve been playing Smite in the meantime, and I really like it, but now that the Paladins open beta is out I decided to give it a shot right away.
So, with a new game comes a time with training modes. From what I see so far, I’m going to be in training for a while. I need to get used to it, and not suck as bad as I do now before I play “for real”.
Now, I’m not one to write long and detailed reviews, but here are the first five thoughts I had after starting the game.
- I really need to change the controller sensitivity. I just can’t live with this really high setting. Seriously.
- Ooh, horse! This is fun.
- The sofa is too far away from the TV for this kind of game. Any kind of game, really.
- What happens if I press this button???
- That went….well.
In other words: I like the game so far, and I’m sure exploring it further (and knowing what I’m doing) will be fun.
